E-9 — Planning Sheet I created the Planning Sheet after I realized that my template was ineffective unless the information for the newspaper article was organized effectively. Before using the planning sheet, we organized the ideas on the board, and I thought the writing would flow from that.

But beginning writers needed one more structure to transition them to the article.
